"Chariots" impressed me when i was ten, but reading it again lately made me gag. Such poor writing style, so pompous and smug! It makes it difficult to actually hear what the author is saying. "Gold of the Gods" from a few years later is much easier to read. As for the theory esposed, i still harbor a secret tolerance of the possibilaty that They came, mined, warred and split, leaving their hybrid spawn behind.
